One of Serie A's most sensational transfers has just been confirmed after Juventus officially filed the contract of star striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Argentine will made the move from Napoli to Turin for a total of 90 million euros and is set to earn a staggering 7.5m euros for each year of his four-year deal.
Marrathon report that having been granted confirmation of the agreement from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis on Tuesday afternoon, the Bianconeri moved to submit details of the contract to league officials and hence, the deal is all but complete.
With the fine details of Higuain's move now sorted out, the transfer will be official announced by both Napoli and Juventus in due course.
After enjoying a stunning season with the Partenopei last term, in which he broke Gunnar Nodahl's long-standing Serie A goal scoring record, Higuain will become the third most expensive footballer of all time.
Only Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have been purchased for a larger sum.
