Super cup may come too soon for Kroos

Real Madrid players involved in Euro 2016, including Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale, are using their holidays to keep fit in order to earn a place in the UEFA Super Cup squad.
The German and the Welshman do not officially return to training until August 5, just four days ahead of the clash against Sevilla, but in principle Zinedine Zidane could take them to Norway as both want to play at all costs.
Kroos is particularly keen as this is where he made his debut with Los Blancos in identical circumstances to today.
Two years ago, he stood in Cardiff as a new signing and a world champion but with just three training sessions and little time to gel with his new side.
Then coach Carlo Ancelotti did not hesitate to put him in the line-up where he worked like clockwork.
This season, the 26-year-old could have the same number of workouts to reach the Super Cup but has the advantage of already knowing the team's dynamics and doesn't need time to adapt, only to be able to approach a game without risking injury.
Although he wants to play, the coach will have the final say but he has more midfielders than forwards.
Casemiro, Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic, Isco, James Rodriguez and Marcos Llorente are also in the frame so his chance of taking part is not as clear as his Welsh teammate.
Like Bale, the German has been spending time with his family at home while working out so that he will not fall behind the other players in terms of his fitness.
His father is a trainer and coach who is also well-equipped to make sure he is ready for his first day back with Los Blancos.
